2-Day Course Introduction

This course is for people wishing to renew an existing, valid First Aid at Work certificate. If your certificate has expired you are still able to attend this course, but the HSE recommends you attend the First Aid at Work (3 day course) if more than a month has elapsed since expiry.

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Refresher is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to requalify and provide first aid in first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities. The course is also suitable for larger or higher risk companies or those managing construction projects / sites and business where higher training levels for first aid are required above and beyond Emergency First Aid at Work. During this 2 day Refresher course, delegates will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries

Assessment method

Assessment will be by observation of the practical sessions and by completion of two small multi answer question papers.

3 Years.
