Health & Safety with a Little Welsh Spirit… Iechyd da!

When your flagship product is called Butty Bach – meaning “little friend” in Welsh – it says a lot about your values: friendly, approachable, reliable. That’s exactly the kind of on-site Health & Safety support we believe in delivering. At PCF Training & Consultancy, we’re proud to deliver accredited training that supports health and safety standards across the construction industry.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the award-winning team at Wye Valley Brewery Ltd.. While they focused on crafting beautifully balanced beers, we were there behind the scenes, supporting their operations with practical compliance checks, risk assessments, and honest advice.

No clipboard theatrics. Just calm, competent consultancy that keeps workplaces safe while staying approachable and supportive.

UKATA Asbestos & Non-Licensed Training at PCF

We recently welcomed the team from FireRite to PCF Training & Consultancy, where they successfully completed their UKATA Asbestos Awareness and Non-Licensed Asbestos Training.

This training ensures operatives understand how to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), assess risk, and follow correct procedures to remain compliant and safe on site.

Supporting Compliance Under COSHH

Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, anyone required to wear tight-fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) must undergo face fit testing carried out by a competent person.

Fit2Fit accreditation is recognised by the HSE as demonstrating good practice and competence in face fit testing — ensuring that RPE provides the protection it is designed to deliver.

The FireRite team also undertook face fit testing during their session, reinforcing their commitment to health, safety and compliance standards.

Committed to Safe Working Practices

It was a great session with an engaged team focused on maintaining the highest standards across their operations.

Thank you to FireRite for choosing PCF for your training and compliance requirements.
